Tromp L’oeil? It is French for deceive the eye. It is an art technique that
uses realistic imagery to create an optical illusion, giving a three
dimensional effect. This technique is not something new but dates back to Greek
and Roman times. Back then they might have depicts a mural such as a window,
door or hallway.
